The City of Lethbridge Fire Hall #5 is a 13,293 sq.ft. emergency services facility serving the south zone of west Lethbridge and surrounding communities. Constructed with a robust combination of precast concrete and structural steel, the building delivers exceptional strength, durability, and long-term performance. Precast concrete provides a resilient, low-maintenance interior and exterior finish, capable of withstanding the rigors of housing and cleaning firefighting equipment, while structural steel offers the flexibility for wide-span spaces and future adaptability. The design features fully glazed overhead bay doors on the primary elevation and a partial mezzanine. Inside, the station houses three apparatus bays, bunk rooms, administrative offices, locker and shower rooms, a communal kitchen and dining area, and a fitness room, along with specialized spaces such as sanitation rooms, TV rooms, an education room, and a hose training zone. Interior finishes of polished concrete and epoxy flooring further enhance durability, ensuring the station will serve the community reliably for decades.
