This multi-family residential project features eight, 16-unit modern townhouse buildings, with each unit offering 2,000 square feet of living space with three bedrooms. Designed for long-term durability and energy efficiency, the development showcases precast concrete panels installed on insulated concrete form (ICF) foundations.
ICF foundations combine reinforced concrete with continuous insulation, creating a high-performance envelope that improves thermal efficiency, reduces energy costs, and increases comfort year-round. The precast panels provide exceptional structural integrity while minimizing maintenance requirements.
One of the key advantages of this approach is the use of prefabricated construction methods. By manufacturing the precast panels in a controlled facility, production is not impacted by weather delays, allowing for faster and more predictable project timelines. This is especially valuable in cold climates, where on-site concrete pours can be slow, costly, or even impossible during winter months. Prefabrication enables efficient year-round construction, reduces labour costs, and ensures consistent quality from start to finish.
To enhance curb appeal, each building features an exposed aggregate concrete finish on the precast panels—adding texture, visual interest, and lasting weather resistance. This blend of robust construction methods and refined architectural detailing ensures the townhouses will remain both functional and attractive for decades to come.
