Theo Kerkhoff, P.Eng, Struct.Eng, Principal

Principal/Senior Structural Engineer

Theo Kerkhoff graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1999 with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree. After working for a local structural engineering firm he set up Kerkhoff Engineering Ltd. in 2004. With his hands-on experience in the construction industry he is able to incorporate his practical experience into building design. With the changing markets his experience and projects have varied from single and multi-family residential to commercial and industrial developments. Theo has developed a unique portfolio consisting of projects such as warehouses, offices, airport terminals and hangers, and large agricultural concrete precast structures. This experience has allowed him to expand Kerkhoff Engineering into Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Richard George, P.Eng, Partner

Structural Engineer

Richard George graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Okanagan in 2018. With his experience in the heavy civil construction field he is able to provide structural engineering on large commercial and industrial precast concrete and structural steel framing projects.

James Kennedy, P.Eng

Senior Structural Engineer

James Kennedy has worked for several well known structural engineering firms, as well as being the lead structural engineer at a local precast concrete production facility. This experience has made him a valuable member of the Kerkhoff Engineering team working on commercial and industrial building design.

Chris Klop

Drafting Coordinator

Chris Klop completed the BCIT Architectural Building and Technology diploma program and has experience in both architectural and structural firms. After moving to Kerkhoff Engineering he is the drafting department coordinator responsible for quality control and coordinating designs with the engineers and consultants.

Hannah Hughes

Drafting Technician

Hannah completed the Architectural Drafting Technician program at the University of the Fraser valley in 2019, and is on the structural drafting team at Kerkhoff Engineering.

Jordan Crossen

Drafting Technician

Jordan Crossen graduated from Loyalist College with an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology in 2012.  Since that time he has worked in both architectural and multi-disciplinary engineering firms gaining wide ranging experience in design and drafting.  Prior to going back to college, Jordan worked as a carpenter, and received his Interprovincial Red Seal General Carpentry license in 2007.  He is a  draftsman on building design and structural drafting on large commercial buildings.

Darin Sandy

Drafting Technician

Darin completed the Architectural Drafting Technician program at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2019, and is on the structural drafting team at Kerkhoff Engineering.

Stephen Devauld

Drafting Technician

Stephen completed the Architectural Drafting Technician program at the University of the Fraser Valley in 2005, and is on the structural drafting team at Kerkhoff Engineering.
